Engineering EXPO 2009 is pleased to offer the following PDH Lectures on the day of the event. The lectures will start promptly at 9am (See signs at the event for room location). The cost for these fully qualified 1.5 PDH lectures are $30/Lecture. All lectures are 90 minutes and require pre-registration. Lecturer: Richard Cassin
Synopsis: Learn about state of the art techniques to design transportation improvements in normal conditions and with challenging soils and slopes

10:30am - Implementing a Climate Change Program
Lecturer: Marc Karell

Synopsis: Be prepared today for the challenges of the near and distant future and for implementing Climate Change

12 Noon - Lunch break - Enjoy EXPO!

1:30pm - Masonry Movement Joints
Lecturer: Keith F. Lashway, P.E.

Synopsis: Learn the difference between a working crack, a designed joint, working with expansion at dissimilar material contact surfaces and follow the handling of a repair or restoration mechanism for moving masonry in interior and exterior masonry systems.

3:00pm - Structural Masonry
Lecturer: Keith F. Lashway, P.E.
Synopsis: Why masonry has become much more than modular units for either simple bearing walls or building facades. Learn how to use the flexibility of masonry, understand the function of the products and share your views with a foremost expert in the practice.
